As a raw food enthusiast, you don’t need me to tell you why you’re here… If it’s raw food or raw food related, you’re in!
This stage of the raw food journey is a revelation – every day brings more joy, awareness, vitality, insights and rewards. It’s at this stage where you wonder why everyone else isn’t eating this way.
On the flipside, you may also be continuing to come up against some stumbling blocks. Perhaps you’re struggling with knowing how to diversify your diet now that you know the basics, or perhaps you want to go fancier or more gourmet. Or maybe you’ve been going through it emotionally as the “old” you has been falling away - and not just the physical. You might be questioning many things in your life.
At this stage you really are standing at the threshold of a whole new way of living for the long-term – should you choose to “go there”, and so it’s vital that you take the time to get really clear on who you are, what you want, and what you need to do to get there. At this stage you may find yourself reading voraciously like I did, searching for more information about all things green, ethical, spiritual and evolutionary. This is an exciting time and no mistake; however, it’s more important than ever that you get the support that you need because the journey you are on is very different to the norm.
When I was going through this stage myself I remember feeling very alone. I relied on raw food books and self-help tomes to answer the questions that were coming up for me, but I would have given anything to have a friend, coach or confidante to guide me or walk alongside me through the journey. This was one of the main reasons that I created "The Raw Food Coach" and trained others to become professional Raw Food Coaches and Teachers, because it’s vital that you have access to this support.
The truth is, this stage of the raw food journey is truly magical, and although you will be looking for guidance, you'll really want to be receiving it from someone who understands both the raw food AND the life stuff (i.e. a Raw Food Coach!). The issues you are facing and the possibilities open to you are incredible, but few are those who know what this truly means or can mean. And that's why I'm so happy that you found your way here!
STEP 1: Your first priority as an enthusiast is to set some exciting new goals for yourself! This is one of the most fun parts of the raw food journey, because by this point you will know that you have the confidence and permission to create exciting new visions for yourself and your life, and just as importantly, the energy and enthusiasm to bring them to life!
